Fitness Audio have been working on this project for the last 9 months and the deal was finally signed at NAMM in January. The first order has been placed and will be despatched to them and their international distributors in the Fitness Audio Network in late March.

The Fitness Audio WES Receiver features compatibility with other 900Mhz and FM transmitters from all major brands including Cardio Theater, BroadcastVision/BVE, Enercise and MYE Entertainment. It provides the ability to listen to both TV audio and FM radio in one unit and is the first wireless receiver brand to offer a 2 Year parts and labour Warranty. The Fitness Audio 900Mhz and FM WES Transmitters come with a 3 Year parts and labour Warranty. The Transmitter (that's the box with Antennae!) is hooked up to the audio outputs of a TV screen so that the sound can be transmitted on one of a dozen selectable frequencies in the 915 - 928MHz range to the receiver (that's the smaller unit with the touch panel and headphones attached).

The receivers are attached to the handlebar of Cardio machines in a fitness club. In this way members of Fitness Clubs can exercise and watch the TV Screen/Channel of their choice and listen to the audio on headphones while they ride, step or jog to keep fit.

Known as the Fitness Audio WES Series, the line also includes an FM Transmitter that does the same thing using spare frequencies in the FM band. A selection of four Fitness Audio branded headphones for selling on to club members completes the picture.
