Adam Audio has changed it's Australian distribution again.
Unless our guess is wrong, it was only a couple of years ago, we remember Adam loudspeakers popping up on the Chocolate stand at a trade show. Not that well known but full of promise.
From there, they were picked up by the crew at Group (which would have no doubt made the Chocolate people pleased).
But now, in an email from
Katharina Raddatz (Adam Sales Manager Asia-Pacific-Rim), we have been advised that they have moved on to much bigger and better things (another distributor). |

| The following few words were trimmed from Katharina's email: |

|
| We are able now to concentrate our power not only on the Mi market, but also at the broadcast, studio and TV station markets with a company that has more than 27 years experience in this business and gives us the opportunity to sell our complete Studio Monitor range in Australia. |

Katharina was very polite and thanked Group for their efforts (which is always a nice thing to do when a company has poured a few thousand bucks and untold hours into promoting your product).
Now we are not going to tell you the new agent because it should be so easy to work out. Apparently, compared to Group, they:
- have more experience
- have been in the business longer
- have better distribution
- are not restricted to the MI market
(Apparently, without warning, Group have suddenly become heavily into MI)
- have wider market penetration
- are capable of selling a complete range
- obviously a much bigger company
- etc, etc, etc
Don't look it up just yet. First send us an email with your guess as to who it is.
