Adamson Audio now officially part of the CMI family
6th July 2009

As we reported recently, CMI were looking for a new man to become Mr Adamson Australia. Pretty obvious really, they had become the new agent for Adamson Audio Products within Australia .

Our source at CMI said "It was a great honor to be approached by Adamson to represent them in our market place and we are looking forward to developing new business opportunities for both our existing clients and future partners".

They then went on to say "Adamson is unquestionably one of the most prestigious speaker manufacturers in the world with very little competition in this area of the market. It is a highly sought-after brand for touring artists and has a great history of large scale installations and we are excited to be charged with the task of building Adamson partnerships throughout Australia".

We didn't but in at all during the sales spiel, we just sipped our drink and waited to check the range. And it really is quite impressive - check it out.........

Y-Axis Series. The heart of the Y-Axis System is the proprietary Co-Linear Drive Module. Adamson's unique 'sound chamber within a sound chamber' produces a perfectly curved, iso-phase, co-linear sound source of both mid and high frequency energy.

SpekTrix Series. The SpekTrix is a three-way enclosure exhibiting extremely high output for its compact size. The sound chamber has a defined coverage pattern of 5-degrees vertical by 120-degrees horizontal and produces a slightly curved, iso-phase wave front.

Metrix Touring Series The Adamson Metrix is an ultra compact 2 -way true line source array which provides unmatched clarity for speech reinforcement and medium SPL for smaller to mid-size venue installations, or for use as an under hang-, side-, front- or balcony fill cabinet in larger installations.

Metrix Install Series. For an economical option, the Metrix-i, debuts the EIRT 'Enclosed Installation Rigging' system for venues looking for lower cost options, without sacrificing sound quality.

M Series. The Adamson M Series monitors offer users a range of high powered stage monitors for a variety of demanding applications.

Conventional Products. When it comes to conventional, horizontally arrayable enclosures, Adamson leads the way with innovative driver and wave-guide designs, rigging and ergonomics.

Point Series The Point Series loudspeakers employ the same no-compromise large diaphragm compression drivers found throughout Adamson's touring product range. All 12-inch and 15-inch models also incorporate Adamson's Advanced Cone Architecture on proprietary LF transducers. The ND12 is Adamson's first 12" Neo Kevlar driver and is making its debut simultaneously, in the Point 12 and the M Series M12 Stage Monitor.

How cool is this
