New appointment for SmartAV, as attention turns to Australia and New Zealand

7th August 2009 - Caroline Watson

Since officially launching Tango in July 2008, sales of Smart AV’s award-winning controller have taken off in the United States and Europe, but now SmartAV wants to focus on markets closer to home.

To that end, Smart AV have employed Peter Moses who joins the Sydney-based team as Senior Sales Engineer, heading up customer service and business development. He brings with him a wealth of experience in customer development, support and training.

SmartAV is always keen to work closely with Tango users, consistently seeking their feedback to further improve ongoing product development. Peter will be instrumental in this process, providing support and channeling all feedback to the design team.

In addition, Peter will drive business development, taking sales activity to new heights. The audio production business in Australia and New Zealand is buoyant and with the appointment of Peter, SmartAV can now draw on the opportunities available on their doorstep.

Says Peter ‘Tango is a strong product and is doing well in other parts of the world, and we now want to focus more effort on supporting Tango users in Australia and New Zealand. I’m looking forward to introducing it to post production facilities, studio professionals and music producers who may not yet be aware of Tango’s unique qualities.’
