Andy McIntyre (circa 2007) |
 |
Always keen on knobs buttons and dials, Andrew McIntyre is a man who was always destined to work in the audio industry.
Through the nineties he ran a crewing company in Sydney working on major events in both rock & corporate. He also worked as a tour managing on festivals as well as ‘In House’ audio systems engineer at at various venues.
Then came the blushing bride and screaming tax deduction, so the work load was modified to a position at Grafton Sound and Lighting. There he worked on shows from small gigs with speakers on sticks to huge council festivals with production budgets in the many thousands.
In 2006 Andy left Sydney to take up the position of Pro Product Manager for CMI (Central Musical Instruments).
He is helpful, enthusiastic and dedicated to remaining up to date with technology. What's more, CMI are happy to pay him to do this. Lucky bugger. |
