Been around for longer than most other companies. These guys have a long standing enviable reputation for designing and manufacturing products of incredibly high quality, extremely practical and very good value for money. They are top of the heap.

Globally, the Bosch Group is one of the world's largest private industrial corporations, with 242,000 employees, over 260 production locations and sales revenue of AUD 66 billion in 2004 (10% growth on the 2003 result).

In Australia their core business is actually in engineering and manufacturing of automotive products and industrial technology. As well as the trading of consumer products.
In 2004, Bosch Australia's annual sales revenue was over AUD$1 billion with 1,790 employees.

In June 2006 Bosch anounced, in a press release, they had forked out around US$420 million bucks to take over Telex Communications.
