Emtac - S3 - Bluetooth GPS Receiver
 

The S3 Bluetooth GPS receiver features the SiRF StarIII chipset. The SiRF starIII chipset is a high performance and low power consumption chip set. Its advanced sensitivity has the capability of tracing signals from 20 geo-stationary satellites concurrently while updating information from satellites once every second. The sensitivity improvements in coverage capacity provide the user with the ability to receive clear reception in environments that have a poor signal. This makes the S3-BTGPS perfect for navigating in urban canyons, in the mountains, or under dense foliage.

The S3-BTGPS allows you to receive GPS data wirelessly. By sending the GPS position data over Bluetooth, the user can position the receiver for the best reception possible without the use of any annoying wires. The internal lithium-ion battery can last for at least six hours while recharging only takes 60 minutes. The receiver can be used with many platforms which include: PDA Phone, Smart phone, Notebook PC, Handheld PC and other Bluetooth enabled mobile devices.
